COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR POSITION

Half Acre Beer Co. is seeking a creatively motivated, organized and positive individual to join our Creative Department.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary duties will be assisting the Creative Manager and Creative Coordinator with departmental duties including but not limited to internal and external website upkeep, newsletter planning, departmental project scheduling, photography, promotional and social support. This person will work closely with our art, sales, and retail departments in the continuous push for brand awareness and consistency.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with a solid work ethic and a can-do attitude; comfort with mobile technology (specifically social media); strong interpersonal skills; excellent attention to detail and organizational skill; experience in photography; flexibility in daily tasks; ability to work nights/weekends (bi-monthly in market event attendance will be a requirement for this position) and passion for good beer.

  • Experience in MailChimp a plus

  • Interest in writing a plus

  • Comfort in Photoshop a plus

  • Bachelors degree a plus.

  • Applicants must be able to lift up to 35 pound cases, maneuver 165 pound kegs, crawl, crouch, climb, and not mind dirt.

  • All applicants must be over 21 years of age, because beer.
