EVENTS COORDINATOR POSITION
Half Acre Beer Co. is seeking a creatively motivated, organized and relentlessly positive individual to join our Events Team, under the Creative Department umbrella.
The primary duties will be assisting the Events Manager with departmental duties including but not limited to creation, planning and production of large internal events (such as The Big North, Far + Away Invitational), managing and staffing external events, festivals and samplings, facilitate account tours and help schedule, curate and continue to evolve brewery tours as well as maintenance, organization and upkeep of all events equipment. This person will work closely with our sales, production and retail departments as well as distribution and vendor partners in the continuous push for brand building as well as positive and original consumer experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with a solid work ethic and a can-do attitude; excellent attention to detail and organizational skill; comfort with crowds and public speaking; strong interpersonal skills; confident and sure-footed in stressful situations; flexibility in daily tasks; ability to work nights/weekends; willingness to travel from time to time; and passion for good beer.
Experience giving tours a plus
Bachelors degree a plus.
Applicants must be able to lift up to 35 pound cases and maneuver 165 pound kegs.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a working automobile, with a good driving record as well meet insurance requirements as provided by employer.
All applicants must be over 21 years of age, because beer.
