For Father’s Day we worked on a project with one of Chicago’s most time honored makers, Horween Leather.
We’re big on what it means to function in the city. The process of making things in modern times can be at odds with city existence. Cities are expensive, packed with humans and logistically difficult. Horween has been making leather in the thick of it on Ashland Ave since 1905.
By any measure, our brewery is young and still earning its place as an entity making things in the City Of Chicago, so it’s an honor to work with a group that has navigated life in our city all this time.
We’re offering a run of Half Acre belts made with genuine Horween Leather. Each belt is made with heavy leather in three different colors, each with two different solid brass buckle options. Each belt is imprinted with the Half Acre mug shot logo.
There’s nothing more fundamental than a solid piece of leather that keeps your pants up.
